Show Notes for Episode 33 - Summer Folk Tales Pt. 1

Jun 16, 2019

Here's where we tell you how to find the recipe for the Mai Tai, the tales we told, and the podcast we mentioned! Also, here is the link to all our cocktail graphics, as promised: http://folkloreontherocks.com/past-cocktails

The Booze:

Mai Tai
-1/4 cup pineapple juice (orange juice will work too, could even do a little bit of both)
-1 oz of light rum
-1/2 oz dark rum
-1 lime's worth of fresh lime juice (like 1-2 Tbsp)
-1/2 oz of dry orange Curacao
-1/2 oz orgeat (or-zat) syrup, which is almond flavored (could also use simple syrup)
-1 tsp grenadine
-mint sprig, maraschino cherry, and pineapple slice, for garnish

Combine pineapple or orange juice, light rum, lime juice, curacao, or-zat syrup, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Float the dark rum on the top and garnish with the mint, cherry, and pineapple slice.
