This week we narrated and discussed folktales from the Slavic peoples of Europe and Asia. The book they are from is called "Fairy Tales of the Slav Peasants and Herdsmen", by Alex Chodsko, Translated and Illustrated by Emily J. Harding in 1896. The book is freely available on Project Gutenburg: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/25555/25555-h/25555-h.htm
Cocktail of the Week: Moscow Mule. Here is the recipe we used:
-2 oz vodka
-1/2 Rosie’s lime juice
-Stoli ginger beer (or Reeds extra) to taste
-Squeeze in juice from half a lime
-Shake with ice, then add ginger beer
-Serve in copper mug
The 3 stories we narrate and discuss are "The Lost Child", "The Journey to the Sun and the Moon", and "The History of Prince Slugobyl; or, The Invisible Knight". Here are some illustrations from the book!

We Drink and We Know Things
We are giving away FREE STICKERS! If you want some, leave us a (hopefully nice so Lindsay doesn’t cry) review on iTunes, take a screenshot, email that and your mailing address to email@example.com, and we will mail you some stickers for free! Also, once we hit 100 iTunes reviews, we'll release a bonus episode with a listener selected creature!
If you have any personal stories about creatures, monsters, or cryptids (even if you don't know what it was), please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can eventually do a listener episode!
